Rigorous Certification by Leading Auditing Firm Reaffirms Choice Payroll’s High Quality Operational Standards and Controls
April 11, 2008 - Atlanta, GA – Choice Payroll announced today that it has successfully completed the certification process for SAS 70 Type 1 compliance, in conformity with the controls and objectives of leading independent auditor, Houdyshell & Associates.
SAS 70 is the authoritative guidance that allows service organizations to disclose their control activities and processes to their customers and their customers' auditors in a uniform reporting format. Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SAS 70 is a component of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 that was introduced in the US to increase transparency of internal controls for processes and procedures for service organizations.
